World Stroke Day - Stroke Rehabilitation Camp

On Behalf of WORLD STROKE DAY , Saveetha College of Occupational Therapy Interns combined with Saveetha Rural Health Centre Mappedu has created a awareness program on Stroke Rehabilitation in Kilacheri Village.
The program focused on awareness about stroke and well-being of patients with stroke and their caregivers.
It’s really heartening to see programs like this bringing stroke awareness directly to rural communities, especially since so much of recovery depends on early recognition and ongoing caregiver support. The focus on both patients and their families is spot on—it’s a team effort that doesn’t end when you leave the hospital. Speaking of documentation, I’ve been using a bad quality image tool to make some of my rehab exercise photos look gloriously terrible for a laugh with my physio group—sometimes the blurrier the visual, the more it lightens the mood during long recovery sessions. Keep up the great work in Mappedu!
I appreciate the efforts of the Saveetha College of Occupational Therapy interns and Saveetha Rural Health Center in bringing this valuable information to the community. Programs like this can make a real difference in improving understanding and support for stroke survivors. Basket Random may be a fun game, but initiatives like this remind me that community health and well-being deserve our attention too.
It's very meaningful that the program focuses on both patients and caregivers, as recovery after a stroke is always a long journey and requires comprehensive support. It reminds me of how systems like Idols Of Ash also require the coordination of many elements to overcome ongoing challenges.
